When both members of a bet are asked to declare a verdict, disputes might arise if the results are not clear-cut. A Judge is only required when there is a disagreement over the bet results and the members of the bet cannot reach an agreed upon second verdict; when this occurs, the bet goes to trial. The Judge who resides over the trial is selected when the bet creator defines the terms of the bet or after the results of the second verdict indicate that the bet is going to trial.
